Blueberry Post-run Smoothie

After a sweet treat that will counter the mince pies this festive season? Rotorua Marathon race ambassador, Rachel Grunwell has whipped up this post-run protein smoothie recipe for you that’s delicious and nutritious! This includes a great punch of protein and antioxidants.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups oat milk

  • ½ cup blueberries

  • 1 scoop of protein powder of choice

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 banana (skin removed)

Method:

Place everything in a blender and blitz until combined. Then pour it into a glass and enjoy! Or put it into a glass bottle and take it on-the-run.
